Players get points according to the games they've played, games they've won and by the quality of their opponents. The fastest way to move up is by playing various opponents. You even get credit for beating someone below you, or putting up a good fight against someone above you, so there's always an incentive to play.

Simply play a match and post your scores to this web site. Both the winner and loser of the match will be added to this list.
